January 13, 2024: Today I released the first Panda I've made in ages. I've switched over to inset panda patches which means that the eye patches are black fur sections sewn into the head pattern instead of painted on top of the white fabric after the fact. I've named him Cubby Checkers. Cubby will be one of a kind because I'm making the eye patches smaller (and the ears larger) on future pandas.
I might've swerved a little too close to raccoon patches on this little guy. Now, of course, I really want to make a raccoon; but I already made plans to make another mini bear and an otter, and a Panda 2.0.
I had a great mini bear head almost finished but he accidentally caught on fire, which set me back a bit. Jeff took away my mini aim-a-flame after that. It was probably for the best; there are safer ways to re-melt nose wax.
All the bears in my shop are sold out, but I plan to add more soon. I always say that then disappear for ages-- so temper your expectations. For the first two weeks of January, Jeff kept me busy packing orders for HIS shop, which isn't nearly as fun as sewing. My 2024 goal is to make more time for creating bears, in spite of Jeff.

Unser Bär Pudding war das Feature (Cover) -Modell für die digitale Ausgabe des Bears & Buds- Magazins vom September 2014 mit einem Artikel über unser Unternehmen.
