Wednesday's standing height (if she could stand, which she cannot) is 11.5. She was made with soft Steiff-Schulte Mohair in beige with taupe backing. Her muzzle insets are Steiff Alpaca. She has black glass eyes and cotter pin jointing; her neck is wobble-jointed so her head can move around freely. Her nose was embroidered with cotton floss then sealed with beeswax and shaded with oil paints. Her paw pads are upcycled Vachetta Italian Leather (rough side out) which were antiqued with oil paint. Her stuffing is heavy polyester fiber.
I've given her looser joints to make her arms and legs floppier, which does mean that she can't stand unassisted. I wanted a more traditional style for her body because I was using thick leather for the paw pads and knew I couldn't sculpt the toes (which would've been my contemporary style). Her paw pads were left unsculpted (traditional) and shaded with Winsor & Newton oil paints.
Wednesday has the same exact face as my all-time favorite bear, Nori. Her price is a bit higher than usual because I will gladly keep this bear with me forever if she's not adopted. (Whenever you see a bear priced this high, it usually means it's an outstanding creation that I really, really wanted to keep for myself. But also I really like money, so...)
